3G Mobile Auction

You can see how much money there is in the mobile phone market. Today nine telecoms firms took part in over 180 rounds of bidding over 34 days. The government ended up getting $15bn. Twice the sum that was expected.

India is one of the worlds fastest growing mobile phone markets. Now, users will be able to get fast web access on their mobile devices through the 3G network. Users can now download data such as music and games on their mobile devices significantly faster than the old standard (2G)

This is a major development for the mobile phone network infrastructure in India and with more services than ever moving to the mobile phone this is a major improvement.
Mobile money transfer is now becoming more and more popular and is being used to send money to love ones, make payments and in emergencies.
Telfriends Worldwide owns Money-by-Mobile.com which is now for sale.
